Making it easier to get to the OneNote app on Windows
Now we are making it easier to get the OneNote app on Windows, plus new, faster ways to launch it with the Windows 11 2022 Update. Today we're making it easier to get the right OneNote app on any Windows device by making it available in the Microsoft Store. As we previously announced, we're evolving the OneNote app on Windows, and consolidating the OneNote app on Windows and OneNote for Windows 10 into a single app moving forward. We're simply making it easier to get the OneNote app on any Windows device by making it available for download from the Microsoft Store. OneNote for Windows 10 is going out of support in October 2025, so consider switching to the OneNote app on Windows to continue receiving new feature updates. Installing the OneNote app will not uninstall or change anything on OneNote for Windows 10, nor will it replace OneNote for Windows 10. If you don't want to keep both apps, then you can manually uninstall OneNote for Windows 10 after you verify all your notebooks show up in the OneNote app.

A day in the life: Everyday diagramming with Visio
She's an avid user of Visio with a Visio Plan 2 subscription and often creates diagrams to help explain her thoughts and ideas clearly. She also uses the Grid and Snap to Grid features, available in Visio Plan 1 and Visio Plan 2, to easily position and align the shapes on the canvas. Once the diagram is completed, Maya opens it in the Visio desktop app, where she's able to validate the workflow against the BPMN rule set and check for any issues. An image demonstrating available BPMN Basic Shapes in the Shapes pane and an example diagram created in Visio. Minutes before the meeting, Maya creates a new Visio drawing directly from the Files tab in Teams. Maya opens the Visio file directly in Teams and adds the new Mind map stencil to the Shapes pane. With 30+ new Icons stencils-including Nature and Outdoors Icons, Education Icons, and People Icons-and more than 1,000 new shapes available in Visio for the web, Maya finds everything she needs to create a professional-looking infographic.

Introducing new capabilities in Adoption Score for IT admins and adoption specialists
Today we're excited to announce three new capabilities in Adoption Score, as well as support for new roles focused on adoption, which will be gradually rolling out in public preview to tenants who have activated Adoption Score in the Microsoft 365 admin center. These capabilities help IT admins and adoption specialists maximize their organizations' investment in Microsoft 365 whilst maintaining our strong commitment to user-level privacy. To help IT admins and adoption specialists understand what is working, we are releasing an updated Meetings page under People Experiences. Group-level aggregates enable IT admins and adoption specialists to filter by five Azure Active Directory attributes - Company, Department, Country, State and City - helping to improve transparency on which areas of an organization are adopting recommended practices with Microsoft 365. To help IT admins and adoption specialists take action on both group and organizational insights, we are announcing organizational messages for Adoption Score. Organizational messages in Adoption Score use targeted in-product notifications to advise on Microsoft 365 recommended practices based on Adoption Score insights. Learn more about how to realize value by using Adoption Score and other new intelligent capabilities designed for Microsoft 365 admins and adoption specialists at our Ignite on-demand session.
