Support update for InfoPath Forms Services in Microsoft 365

InfoPath Forms Services will be removed from SharePoint Online for all tenants after July 14, 2026, to align with the extended support end date of InfoPath Client 2013. If you're using InfoPath Forms Services in SharePoint Online, we recommend migrating to Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, or other supported solutions. InfoPath Forms Services in SharePoint lets organizations deploy their forms to SharePoint sites, enabling end users to fill out these forms in a web browser. For scenarios where InfoPath or InfoPath Forms services are currently being used, we recommend migrating to other modern solutions such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Forms. The existing InfoPath scenario in Microsoft 365 involves three types of customers: admin, InfoPath designer/publisher, InfoPath respondent. After InfoPath Forms Services are removed from Microsoft 365 SharePoint, the experience change would be as follows for different types of users. Endpoint Analytics insights now available in Microsoft 365 Lighthouse

Endpoint Analytics insights is now available in Microsoft 365 Lighthouse. This applies to all your tenants with Microsoft Intune set up and configured with the Microsoft 365 Lighthouse Device health monitoring policy turned on. Microsoft 365 Lighthouse uses the power of Endpoint Analytics via Intune to help you proactively take measures to improve the health of user devices and apps within managed tenants. Today, with Endpoint Analytics Insights, you can see insights in a multi-tenant lens across all your tenants from the Device health and App performance views in Lighthouse, to help you identify current issues throughout your customer tenants so that you can take proactive measures. This is all done in the Endpoint Analytics insights experience and doesn't require logging into individual tenants to figure out. Meeting Details in OneNote

In OneNote, we're improving Meeting Details to take care of the time-consuming task of capturing meeting context so you can focus on what you do best: run meetings effectively and follow up flawlessly. As you start to write notes about a meeting, you can bring context from your meetings into your Notebook by using the Meeting Details feature through the OneNote ribbon, or by using the 'Send to OneNote' feature in Outlook. In addition to basic information about a meeting such as date, description, and attendees, Meeting Details will now add content from Teams' intelligent meeting recap. Feature Deep Dive: OneDrive Home

With the prevalence of online collaboration our important files now find their home in many locations including SharePoint Document Libraries, file servers, email attachments, Teams chats and channels, and our co-workers' cloud folders. The new Home experience for work and school lets you swiftly retrieve your important files, no matter where they reside within your organization. The Recent view in OneDrive Home displays all the files you've recently opened or used, regardless of whether the file is stored in your OneDrive, shared with you by a colleague, or stored in SharePoint. Best of all, you'll see a similar Recent view in your file experiences across Microsoft 365, such as the Home view in the Teams Files app, in File Explorer, in individual Office apps, and on Microsoft365.com. You can filter by file type including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF. Filters let you quickly narrow your view to a single file type on OneDrive Home. With the introduction of OneDrive Home we've observed a boost in efficiency when it comes to finding and accessing your files. Default Notes tab in Microsoft Teams for Enterprise customers

OneNote is the sole notetaking app across Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and already powers notetaking in Teams channels for EDU customers. We'll not create any new OneNote notebook but leverage the default notebook that gets created at a team level for this purpose. All channel notes are organized within a single OneNote notebook, making it easier to find. Access your notes from anywhere, even outside Teams on OneNote. If you are an existing Wiki user, you can choose to export your notes to OneNote from the Wiki tab itself. We're excited about a richer OneNote experience within Teams channels, and we'll keep listening to your feedback to make your notetaking experience even better! Share your feedback with us. Microsoft 365 Lighthouse Deployment Insights

Lighthouse provides a comprehensive security baseline and helps you deploy it across your customers' tenants - which is VERY cool - but what's even cooler is the ability to see the deployment status of every task and every user across every tenant that you manage on a single pane of glass! Previously, even with the comprehensive deployment capabilities of Lighthouse, you would have to look at each tenant, one-by-one, to understand their deployment status, review deployment exceptions, and figure out which tenants you should focus on at any given time. If you're an admin, you can use deployment insights to assign deployment activities across your team and audit deployment exceptions. If you're a service engineer, you can use deployment insights to quantify threats based on user- and task-level deployment progress so you can prioritize your deployment activities. If you're in sales, you can use deployment insights to identify which tenants need additional licenses to complete their deployment plan. Deployment insights can be viewed by tenant or by task.
